Teddy Lane is a new premium fashion accessory brand, specialising in luxury nails. The highly capable and driven mother-daughter team (Sandra and Lauren, respectively) had their sights firmly fixed on becoming a globally recognised and revered company. Naturally, Creative Mouse was up against a handful of other agencies to take on their ambitious project, and help turn their idea into a reality. In our first meeting with Sandra and Lauren, we understood their vision for the business straight away, and were thrilled to begin working together!
Sandra and Lauren had the Teddy Lane name, and a strong idea of what it should feel like. We took it from there, and facilitated the entire process – from initial concepts and advice through to design and execution. We created a classy yet personable logo and tagline, and an original style to run across all of their products and marketing materials. It was crucial to get their product packaging just right as well. So we came up with a completely new presentation arrangement that really grabs a buyer’s attention. As a globally-focussed brand, their website is a really central part of sales and awareness, so we created an engaging Shopify website. Initially we used existing stock images, then photoshopped Teddy Lane’s nails in. But we soon suggested that it would be more beneficial if they actually created their own professional photos, to differentiate themselves and complete their look. We also helped create all of their printed materials for launch, and professional presentations to use when meeting with New Zealand’s premium retail chains.
Teddy Lane’s identity development and launch went incredibly well. Their brand package looks world-class, and fits with their initial vision. They have absolutely everything in place to take on the world. Retailers have been blown away, and their cohesive social media campaigns are reaching lots of enthusiastic customers. Their products are now stocked by Farmers nationwide, and their website sales are flying along. We’re behind them 100%, and it’s been really rewarding to have been a part of their journey, and see them live out the beginning of their inspiring success story.
