When we were asked to design the material for GYB’s new service, we came up with a concept that fit them so well they completely rebranded...
Chris, from Alan Jecks Insurance Brokers (AJIB), first got in touch when they were entering a momentous new phase
in their business. Not only did they want to offer a new service dedicated for tradies, they were also transitioning the business from father (Alan) to son (Chris). The existing brand was outdated, so we agreed that in line with their journey, the trades service should look fresh and vibrant.
A phrase we found that rang true when insuring tradespeople was “we’ve got your back”, because their entire business focusses on protecting each of their clients. So we developed a brand around that by creating the acronym “GYB”, and a new tagline, logo, and colour scheme. In the end, AJIB loved the concept so much, they wanted to roll it out to their entire business and completely rebrand as GYB. With a great reputation and loyal clients, it was so important to make sure everyone felt comfortable with the changeover in branding. With precise planning, we worked on a full rebrand that enabled them to close down the old brand one day, and start afresh the next.
The transition from old to new couldn’t have gone any better, with valuable staff and customers feeling involved and comfortable through the change. The new GYB identity truly reflects the people behind the business. It’s youthful, with strong experience and family values in the background. The branding and culture looks and feels really professional, fresh, and modern. All this, coupled with their brand new offices, means they’re all set up for the future, and are as busy as ever!
